Who is responsible for your information

Chikumo Fiseko, sole trader, is the data controller. Soft Life Ambition Collective is a trading brand. For privacy questions or rights requests, email hello@chikumofiseko.com.

Information we collect

• Your full name and email address.
• Purchase, membership, access, payment status and support information.
• Limited technical information used by our hosting provider to deliver and protect the website.

Why we use it

• To process purchases and provide the digital resources or membership access you request.
• To send essential purchase, access and support information.
• To prevent misuse, maintain records and meet legal obligations.

We rely on steps you ask us to take before entering a contract, performance of a contract where you make a purchase or become a member, our legitimate interests in administering and protecting the Collective, and legal obligations where applicable.

Who processes it

We use Stripe to process payment and subscription information, Airtable to administer membership records, Google Workspace for essential email and support, and Cloudflare and OpenAI Sites to host and protect the website. Each provider processes information under its own security and contractual arrangements.

International processing

Some service providers may process information outside the UK. Where this happens, we rely on the provider's applicable data-transfer safeguards, such as an adequacy regulation or approved contractual safeguards.

How long we keep it

We keep purchase and membership information only for as long as it is needed to provide access, answer queries, establish or defend legal claims and meet accounting or other legal duties. Information is deleted or anonymised when it is no longer needed for those purposes.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or transfer of your information, or object to its use. You may also withdraw consent where consent is the lawful basis. Email hello@chikumofiseko.com to make a request.

You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office if you are unhappy with how your information is handled.

Cookies, page counts and website security

This website does not intentionally use non-essential advertising or behavioural tracking cookies. We count daily visits to the Buy Back Your Time page in aggregate so we can understand whether the guide is being used. That count does not store names, email addresses, IP addresses or cross-site identifiers. Our hosting and security providers may use strictly necessary technologies to deliver and protect the service.
