Who is responsible for your information

Information we collect

• Your full name and email address.
• Your reservation date, offer details, consent choice and consent wording version.
• Membership, access, payment status and support information if you later join.
• Limited technical information used by our hosting provider to deliver and protect the website.

Why we use it

• To record and manage your reservation.
• To send the private payment invitation and essential membership information you requested.
• To provide membership access and support if you join.
• To prevent misuse, maintain records and meet legal obligations.

We rely on steps you ask us to take before entering a contract, performance of a contract where you become a member, our legitimate interests in administering and protecting the Collective, and legal obligations where applicable. Reservation consent is recorded as evidence that you asked us to contact you about this offer. It is not consent to unrelated marketing.

Who processes it

We use Airtable to record reservations and administer membership, Google Workspace for essential email and support, and Cloudflare and OpenAI Sites to host and protect the website. Stripe will process payment and subscription information if you choose to join after receiving the private payment invitation. Each provider processes information under its own security and contractual arrangements.

International processing

Some service providers may process information outside the UK. Where this happens, we rely on the provider's applicable data-transfer safeguards, such as an adequacy regulation or approved contractual safeguards.

How long we keep it

We keep reservation and membership information only for as long as it is needed to administer the offer, provide the membership, answer queries, establish or defend legal claims and meet accounting or other legal duties. Unsuccessful or expired reservation information is deleted or anonymised when it is no longer needed for those purposes.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or transfer of your information, or object to its use. You may also withdraw consent where consent is the lawful basis. Email hello@chikumofiseko.com to make a request.

You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office if you are unhappy with how your information is handled.

Cookies and website security

This website does not intentionally use non-essential advertising or behavioural tracking cookies. Our hosting and security providers may use strictly necessary technologies to deliver and protect the service.
